Matt Stevens joined Action News in the spring of 2008 from WETM in Elmira, where he was a meteorologist and photographer. Prior to that he was the morning and noon meteorologist at WOAY in Oak Hill, West Virginia.
Matt is quite familiar with the Central New York area, having earned his meteorological and mathematics degrees from Oswego State University where he studied the nuances of lake-effect snow.
Matt earned his American Meteorological Society Seal of Approval in 2008 and is excited to be a part of the Weather Plus team!
