CANANDAIGUA (AP) -- Health officials say two adults stricken with swine flu have died in Ontario County near Rochester.

They are the first deaths linked to the H1N1 virus in the upstate New York county since the outbreak began in April. Neither victim had any known underlying health problems. No further details were disclosed.

State health officials say swine flu activity is on the increase. A dozen H1N1-associated deaths were reported in upstate New York between Sept. 1 and Oct. 31.
