Conservative Party to Host Event with Gov. Mike Huckabee

Upstate Multi-County Committee

The Upstate Multi-County Committee of the New York State Conservative Party is proud to announce that former Gov. Mike Huckabee will be the keynote speaker at a Conservative Recognition Dinner event to be held on October 27, 2009 at the Holiday Inn Syracuse/Liverpool.Huckabee is recognized as a national leader, author, speaker, and television personality. He is the former governor of Arkansas and 2008 presidential candidate. He has written six books, the most recent entitled “Do the Right Thing: Inside the Movement That’s Bringing Common Sense Back to America.” He currently hosts the popular show “Huckabee” on the FOX News Channel. Huckabee will be speaking on the topic of re-igniting the conservative movement in a liberal climate. The Upstate Multi-County Committee of the New York State Conservative Party was formed to unite the efforts of upstate Conservative Party leaders in promoting the principles and ideals of the Conservative Party. Participating counties are Cayuga, Jefferson, Oneida, Onondaga and Oswego.The Conservative Party will also be honoring at the event selected individuals from each participating county that have exemplified the principles of conservatism in public office. We are proud to announce the 2009 class of honorees: Cayuga County – Hon. Peter E. Corning; Jefferson County – Larry Longway; Oneida County – Hon. Raymond A. Meier; Onondaga County – Hon. Nicholas J. Pirro; and Oswego County – Hon. H. Autographed copies of the governor’s latest book will be available for purchase at the dinner. VIP tickets will be offered which will include admittance to a private reception and photo op with Mike Huckabee, in addition to the dinner and autographed book. Tables of 10 will also be available at a special price.
