Phoenix High School presents "Our Town"

Phoenix High School and the JCB Drama Club is proud to present Thornton Wilder’s Pulitzer-prize winning play, “Our Town.” This is the story of George and Emily, and takes place in a sleepy little town which epitomizes America and the American dream. The play is a drama that shows us not to take people we care about or our time together for granted. Carl Fisk plays George Gibbs and Erica Hurd is quite convincing as Emily Webb. The historians that take us through life in a small town are Chelsea Heilig and Alysha Jarrett. Ty Goldthwait performs as Dr. Gibbs and Mrs. Gibbs is Meghan Palmer. Emily’s parents, Mr. and Mrs. Webb, are Ben Badore and Allison McGinley. Rounding out the cast in various roles are Robbie Pellegrino, Shane Young, Corina Steves, Jesse Merritt, Leah Sawyer, Liz Russell, Brian Doolittle (as Constable Warren), Dan White, Jessica Myers and Devon Lough. For the first time in a while, there will be a special guest teacher appearance as Professor Willard! You have to come to the show to find out who!Performances of “Our Town” will be Thursday, November 4th at 4:00 pm and Friday, November 5th and Saturday, November 6th at 7:30 pm. Ticket prices are $5 for adults and $4 for students and senior citizens. All performances will be held in the auditorium at JCB High School, 552 Main Street, Phoenix NY 13135.
