DEWITT -- The Manlius-Pebble Hill Model United Nations team is different from many other schools, in that it's a team and not a club.
The "M-UN", as the students call it, teaches these students how think about world issues in the eyes of another nation, not just America. Basically, Model UN takes these students across the globe to debate other students in these issues, while each student represents a different nation for competition purposes.
The team teaches these kids core values, teamwork, and as they're quick to tell you, the "5-C's" which they explain in the story (click the video tab). If you're not already impressed at the responsibility that these high school students are taking, wait until you hear it from them in the story.
