John Robinson did not set out to point out his disabilities--he says he worked hard to get ahead despite them, but because others kept pointing them out, he realized others looked up to his determined attitude, and has now written a book about being a 'congenital amputee. '
"Get off Your Knees" is being published by SU Press, and Robinson, a former WSTM account executive who now works for TV in the Albany area, will be in this area talking about the book at these locations:
Thurs. Oct 22, evening :  Skaneateles, Creekside books
Fri. Oct 23, 4pm:  SU Newhouse III, 4th floor I-3
Fri, Oct 30, 7pm: Barnes & Noble, Erie Blvd DeWitt
Sat, Dec 5, 2pm: Borders, Carousel Mall
