OSWEGO (AP) -- Authorities have charged a 23-year-old school aide with triggering a bomb scare at an upstate New York middle school.
Aleicia Stancliffe faces a felony charge of falsely reporting an incident. She's accused of writing a note warning of a bomb at Oswego Middle School on Oct. 15.
Stancliffe, a classroom aide for disabled students, is currently on administrative suspension.
Oswego police said Stancliffe is charged with one of four threats made in the district over the last two weeks. Police and school officials declined to comment on Stancliffe's motive.
She's scheduled to be back in court Nov. 19. Police did not know if she has a lawyer.
