Parents in the Jordan-Elbridge School District packed a meeting Wednesday night to say they don't trust the Superintendent or the Board of Education.

Over the summer the principal at Elbridge Elementary Janice Shue was re-assigned pending an investigation into complaints about discrimination. Parents indicate it stems from complaints involving special education, and now the State Education Department is getting involved.

Parent Gary Goodrich said, "You have to pacify the parents. Things have really gotten bad since she was taken out of there. Morale is bad and the security situation is not good, things are unsafe."

The Superintendent, Marilyn Dominick says the district has every right to transfer people. She said, "This is not disciplinary and I wish the public would just trust the outcome.

The concerned parents say they are encouraged the State Education Department is now involved, but they remain frustrated with the district and are going to take some time to figure out what their options are.

I think that it is great that the school will be "breaking even" after wasting all this money on an interim principal, but did anyone ever think of spending the extra money on the children? What are we paying the administration of the district for? You are making bad choices for our children. We need someone to take control of this school district and put our children first.

Marilyn Dominick

I think that Marilyn Dominick needs to be upfront with the tax payers of the Jordan Elbridge school district about why we are paying someone so much per day to be an interim principal yet we cannot afford to get the children the supplies they need to be successful in school, such as math books and desks that work properly!! This situation needs to be resolved now!! You are wasting money that this district does not even have to waste!! I would like to know what Ms. Schue could have done so wrong that it is taking this long for an "investigation". Out with it Mrs. Dominick?? My kids have many more years at Jordan Elbridge and I hope better leadership is on its way in.

Trust ? There has been trouble with trust with JE School District well before 1980. The district has lied,BS'ed parents before my children went to school.
You have to earn trust and that you the district have not learned yet. Be upfront with parents and don't fib, half truths,or lie ,ect.
