Parents in the Jordan-Elbridge School District packed a meeting Wednesday night to say they don't trust the Superintendent or the Board of Education.
Over the summer the principal at Elbridge Elementary Janice Shue was re-assigned pending an investigation into complaints about discrimination. Parents indicate it stems from complaints involving special education, and now the State Education Department is getting involved.
Parent Gary Goodrich said, "You have to pacify the parents. Things have really gotten bad since she was taken out of there. Morale is bad and the security situation is not good, things are unsafe."
The Superintendent, Marilyn Dominick says the district has every right to transfer people. She said, "This is not disciplinary and I wish the public would just trust the outcome.
The concerned parents say they are encouraged the State Education Department is now involved, but they remain frustrated with the district and are going to take some time to figure out what their options are.
