Syracuse's Veterans Day Parade is next Saturday, starting from Clinton Square at noon--down South Salina Street to Harrison, then East to the War Memorial.  Assemblyman Bill Magnarelli says the area's top high school marching bands, the SU Pride of the Orange Band, and lots of military, police and veterans organizations are already signed up.  In an interview on Weekend Today in Central New York, Magnarelli also says the Parade Committee is reaching out to area companies, to urge them to get their veterans to march.  For more information, 428-9651  or www.cnyveteransparade.org
Two other incentives to come watch:
Entries from a high school patriotic poster art contest will be on display in Salina Street's store windows
Parking at city meters will be free in downtown for the day on Saturday.
