It's a food expo---with the products, from wine to sauces, to cheese, and more, all based on New York-grown ingredients.
Fred Pierce tells Action News that the Fest was held in Albany for 13 years, but is moving to the State Fairgrounds, and a more centralized New York State location.
It starts on Friday with a benefit opening, but is open to the public Saturday and Sunday. Over a hundred producers will have unlimited free samples. Tickets are $20 in advance (Ticketmaster.com) or $25 at the door. There's more information at www.harvestfestNY.com.
