FLORIDA -- The oil spill in the Gulf is arguably the worst environmental disaster in the country's history.  It's limiting a lot of businesses...and it's not just the seafood and fishing industries.

Much of the oil has not reached the Florida coast but already some people are canceling or moving their wedding plans.

Newlyweds looking for spectacular wedding pictures are deciding to travel somewhere else to find white sand and blue water.

Steve Lortz, a wedding planner says, "Most of our brides will book us three to six months in advance and we've had a huge drop in the number of people who are calling us in the three to six month period"

The trickle-down effect is huge when it comes to a beach wedding. A cancellation would also affect caterers, cake bakers, wedding photographers and even makeup artists.
