Breakfasts, lunches being served at many sites
School cafeterias and community centers are about to reopen for summer feeding programs
North Syracuse schools plan to announce their summer food programs and start serving this week.
Syracuse City Schools start on July 2, and run through August 16th. Ken Warner, assistant director for the Food and Nutrition Service Department at Syracuse City Schools, says they'll be run from some cafeterias, but also at community centers, and if a group requests, they can still add new locations. Anyone under 18 is eligible for breakfasts and lunches, for free, with no pre-registration needed.
The Syracuse City School district website has locations and daily menus.
