Whites Farm Supply was started in 1946 on Route 31 in Oneida Valley by Willard and Nettie White. In 1973 the Waterville store was opened and in 1986 the lowville location. Today we have grown to 75 employee's between the three stores.
Whites web site is at www.whitesfarmsupply.com and was first on line 15 years ago preparing for the future. Whites is owned by Dale, Art and Doug White sons of Willard and all three are actively involved in the business as well as Greg and Jeff White members of the third generation.
The primary focus of Whites in the beginning was the agricultural equipment and with carrying the multiple lines like Case-IH, New Holland, Brillion, Meyers, Landoll, Sunflower, Kubota and Kuhn,Knight. The central New York farmers have had many years of relying on Whites to provide them with the highest quality of farm machinery and service.
It was in 1961 when Cub Cadet was first introduced and although the first order was for ten with much apprehension as to where they might go it was only a short time that more were needed! They were a hit and it wasn't to long after that more lines of lawn and garden equipment were being sold by Whites. This is the 50th year with Cub Cadet and Whites Farm Supply was just recognized at the Cub Cadet Sales meeting in Orlando Florida for it's fifty years with them! This year is also the twenty fifth year with Ferris mowers! Whites helped them with getting started and is the oldest Ferris Dealer a central New York lawn mower company based in Munnsville New York. It was in 1986 that Whites took on Kubota equipment that is the recognized leader in compact tractors and lawn care equipment and recently introduced a new track skid steer that is taking the industry into a new millennium of comfort and per formance not seen before in track loaders.
There are many things that come into life that require adjustments and when Whites took on Kubota they also started with construction equipment. This has been expanded with the Gehl Line which Whites has an old history with when they were with farm equipment.
The part that makes Whites unique from other dealers is it's one place to come and see more then one brand at once! Whites carries four brands of skid steers, Case,New Holland,Gehl and Kubota! Three brands of tractors with Case,Kubota and Yanmar! Three brands of zero turn mowers withCub Cadet, Ferris and Kubota, Three brands of utility vehicles including the newly released Case Scout, Cub Cadet, Volunteer and the Kubota line. There are many more product lines available all at one location. So when you ask us what's the best, you have a better chance of finding out what you really need! Not what someone wants to get rid of as they only have one option for you! Whites has been referred to as an "adult boy toy store" for some time with all the brands offered.
White's main focus is the customer and providing service to our customers that is above the status quo. Whites employees receive factory training to ensure fast repairs for their customers to keep them able to work and productive. People can expect the most from the employees at Whites because of the training which gives them an edge over other dealers ability to repair as diverse a line-up.
