Founded by Homer Potter in 1944, Potter Heating began as a one-man operation based out of Fayetteville. Over the years, the company grew in size and relocated several times. In 1981, after having successfully run the business for 37 years and with failing health, Homer sold the business to its present owners, M. Suzanne and David Kondra. Homer remained active in the business until his death in 1986.
Under the steady guidance of Suzanne and David Kondra, the company has continued to grow both in number of employees and volume of business. For much of its history, Potter Heating has installed the Bryant line of quality HVAC products and over the years has become one of Bryant’s Premiere Dealers. Potter-Perrone has added several employees and has doubled thier annual volume in the last five years.
In addition to quality of its Bryant equipment, Potter also fabricates much of the ductwork used in its installations. This customization results in a much neater and tighter finished product that promises years of reliability and durability with improved efficiencies and comfort levels for all occupants of the space. The flexibility and convenience that having a plumbing and heating business under one roof provides to their customers is significant. Instead of dealing with two separate subcontractors, their customers have one call to make. It makes jobs flow much smoother because coordination between two of the key subs is simplified.
This flexibility and convenience is a benefit for all customers because it provides for improved profit potential for the general contractor and increased savings for the residential customer.
Potter Heating & Air Conditioning and Perrone Plumbing firmly believe that providing prompt service is critical to the success of any service business, and it also maintains a 24-hour emergency service policy. Prompt service, quality installations, and attention to detail are areas the company refuses to compromise on.
