Job Corps, a U.S. Dept. of Labor job program, offers free career training for 16-24 years olds. The program includes up to two years education and training, campus housing, meals and many other services. Training is offered in many different areas including automotive, healthcare, construction, business office and more. There is no cost to eligible students. Both high school graduates and non-graduates may apply. If needed, a student can also get a GED or high school diploma at the same time they train for a career at Job Corps.
Orientations are held weekly in both our Syracuse and Rochester offices as follows:
Syracuse – 224 Harrison Street, Suite 212, Syracuse, NY
Thursdays at 2:45pm and the 2nd Saturday of the Month at 12 noon
Rochester 30 Hart Street, Suite 301, Rochester, NY
Mondays at 2:00pm and Thursdays at 10:00am
After you attend an orientation, we also offer Open Interviews as follows:
Syracuse Wednesdays at 12 noon
Rochester Tuesdays at 2:00pm
