SYRACUSE -- A Saudi Arabian prince was on the Syracuse University campus today to receive the Chancellor’s Medal for his role in partnering S.U. with one of the first women’s colleges in the Middle East.

His Royal Highness Prince Sultan bin Salman bin AbdulAziz al-Saud received the medal from university president Nancy Cantor during a ceremony at the Maxwell School of Citizenship and Public Affairs.

Among his many accomplishments, Sultan is being recognized for his key role in helping launch a collaborative partnership between SU and Princess Nora Bint Abdul Rahman University, the first all-female university in Riyadh and one of the first and largest women’s universities in the Middle East.
