OSWEGO -- An Oswego man was arrested after throwing rocks at a woman.

Police arrested 41-year-old Fidel Hernandez after he allegedly violated an order of protection when he got into an argument with a woman.

While the woman was inside a car, police say Hernandez threw rocks at her and used a socket wrench to damage the inside and outside of the car.

Police say that while an officer was in the vicinity, Hernandez reportedly threatened to kill the woman.

Hernandez was charged with criminal contempt and harassment. He was arraigned in the Town of Oswego Court and remanded to the Oswego County Correctional Facility in lieu of $1,500 cash bail or $3,000 bail bond.
