A North Country cheerleading coach is accused of stealing money intended to buy uniforms and supplies.

26-year-old Amber Doner, of 312 Weldon Drive, is charged with one count of grand larceny.

Doner was hired as the JV cheerleading coach at General Brown Central School in August of 2012, and was given money to buy uniforms and supplies for the cheerleaders.

State Police say she purchased partial uniforms and supplies and later resigned from her position.

They say she stole $1,0141 from the district.

Doner was issued an appearance ticket.
