OSWEGO COUNTY -- Two Oswego County men are charged in an incident involving a stolen gun.

28-year-old Scott Campbell is charged with criminal possession of a weapon, a misdemeanor. Oswego County Sheriff's deputies say he was in possession of a .22 caliber H&R revolver that was stolen from a Parish home back in August.

Campbell was released on an appearance ticket, and is scheduled to appear in Parish Town Court on January 22.

In the same investigation, 35-year-old Loren Redhead, of 248 Potter Road in West Monroe, was arrested for allegedly possessing the same .22 caliber revolver and selling it. Redhead is charged with criminal possession of a weapon and criminal sale of a firearm. He was arraigned in Parish Town Court and released on his own recognizance. He is scheduled to be back in court on December 18.
