SYRACUSE (AP) -- A Syracuse man has pleaded guilty to injuring his two young nephews by putting bleach in their milk after having an argument with their father.

21-year-old Aaron Hickman pleaded guilty Wednesday in State Supreme Court to felony assault charges.

Hickman was living with his brother, the brother's girlfriend and the couple's 1- and 3-year-old sons when he got into an argument with his sibling last May. After Hickman's brother told him he had to leave, Hickman poured bleach into a bottle of milk in the refrigerator.

Both boys were sickened when they drank the tainted milk the following morning. They were treated at a Syracuse hospital.

Hickman faces two years in state prison when he's sentenced Jan. 25.
