SYRACUSE -- Veterans who need legal assistance will find help Saturday March 23rd at the Syracuse University law school. The event is called VALOR Day.

Organizers have 8 lawyers who will be on hand to provide pro bono legal services, counselors who specialize in benefits, credit counseling and vocational counseling.

"We are hoping for a large turnout so we can help as many of our area veterans, active or reserve service members and their immediate family members as possible," organizer Thomas Caruso wrote in an email to CNYcentral. The event is from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. at The College of Law's Grant Rotunda on the 3rd floor of E. I. White Hall. For more information on VALOR DAY or to schedule an appointment call 315-464-0715. Parking is available for all attendees in the Irving Garage, 141 Stadium Place.
