Liverpool man, hit by truck and dragged 30 feet in January, dies

SYRACUSE -- A Liverpool man died Tuesday from injuries sustained when he was hit by a pickup truck and dragged 30 feet in Liverpool late last month. Officials say Lyle Tryon, 56, died Tuesday as a result of injuries sustained in the crash. Deputies say a 19-year-old woman hit Tryon with a pickup truck. Deputies say she was unaware that she hit anything and drove about 30 feet before she learned she was dragging Tryon under her car. Tryon was taken to Upstate University Hospital with injuries that were initially believed to be non-life threatening. Officials would not release any further information about his death.
