The ex-boyfriend of a Herkimer County woman who was found dead in her car last week in Maryland, is the prime suspect in her murder. Ryan Matthias, 43, was arrested Saturday in Charlotte, North Carolina, accused of driving 1000 miles round-trip to murder Deborah Castellano.

It was 5:30 a.m. on Thursday April 18th when, inside a darkened barracks, a loud whistle blew. As the lights turned on, 16 men yelling at the top of their lungs jump out of their beds and lined up at attention in their underwear. This is part of a daily routine at the Monterey Shock Incarceration Facility in a remote part of Schuyler County, about 15 miles away from the City of Corning.
