When former SU Head Coach Doug Marrone hired Scott Shafer as his defensive coordinator back in 2009, he was impressed with their shared mutual respect for the game and for the culture they were hoping to instill. That culture will now live on in Shafer who will be named SU Football's new head coach.

AThe reaction has started pouring in after in was made official on Sunday morning that the Syracuse Orange is moving to the The Atlantic Coast Conference. The news was coming down just as the SU Football Team was flying back from Los Angeles, where they lost to USC 38-17 on Saturday night.
