ONONDAGA COUNTY -- The McMahon/Ryan Child Advocacy Center has a new leader. Linda Cleary will serve as the organization’s new Executive Director.

The Center provides and coordinates multi-agency services for child abuse and neglect victims in Onondaga County.

Cleary most recently served as executive director of the Children’s Consortium in Syracuse. Prior to that, she was Director of Youth and Parent Programming for the Prevention Network.

Cleary replaces Julie Cecile, who served as executive director for five years, before she was elected to the Onondaga County Family Court bench in November.

April is National Child Abuse Prevention Month.
