Each Tuesday morning on Today in Central New York we will spotlight one local school, teacher, student, class, or program that is setting a positive example for the community.

My School: C.W. Baker High School in Baldwinsville   

This week's My School takes us to C.W. Baker High School in Baldwinsville where students are hard at work putting all of the pieces together for the upcoming musical production of "Titanic".

My School: All-City Instrumental Music Festival   

It involved bands from all schools and age groups in the districts converging to create great music.

My School: LaFayette High School basketball team   

The team raised money through fundraising events, and used that money to bring supplies and toys to the hospital.

The Fayetteville-Manlius soccer teams held a "Pink Out" over the weekend to raise money for breast cancer awareness.

This week's My School takes us to Henninger, where student athletes are taking extra steps to make sure they're in good academic standing, and they're having fun in the process.
