Advance tickets available at a discount
For the fourth year, downtown Syracuse will open its doors to showcase urban living possibilities. Merika Treier, with the downtown committee, says people see old building and don't realize how up-to-date the living spaces inside can be, and this is a way of showing off. Eleven different locations will be open on Saturday, noon - 6pm. Treier says there's more variety this year, in the types, and price ranges of housing available, or about to come on the market.
The Dinosaur Bar-B-Que is headquarters and first stop for the tour---advance tickets are available online for $10 until Thursday, $12 day-of. Volunteers (2 hour shifts, free admission and a t-shrt) are also still needed. 422-8284 or www.downtownsyracuse.com/downtownlivingtour
