GOUVERNEUR -- A Gouverneur man was arrested for assault and criminal possession of a weapon moments after he was released from the Onondaga County Correctional Facility.

Police say 23-year-old Tyree Judge was arrested last July by Syracuse Police for an unrelated crime. Gouverneur Police were waiting when Judge was released to book him for stabbing a man behind the Keybank of Gouverneur late last June.

Judge is now being held in St. Lawrence County Correctional Facility in lieu of $10,000 cash or $20,000 bond.
