SYRACUSE -- A Winter Storm Warning is in effect for Central New York through Saturday morning.

View school closings and early dismissals.

Central New York escape the very heaviest part of the storm, but should see about 4-8 inches of snow Saturday morning. There will be spotty, light snow throughout the area early in the day Friday with the heavier snow coming after 2 p.m. Friday afternoon.
