SYRACUSE -- Syracuse Police are investigating two armed robberies that happened Saturday night.

A 28-year-old Papa John's pizza delivery man had just completed a delivery on Coldbrook Drive around 7:15pm and was counting money in his car when a man came up, pointing a gun and demanding money.

The suspect fled after being given money.  He's described as a black male, 5'8", 150 pounds wearing a black mask, dark clothing and gray sweatpants.

The second robbery happened around 8:15pm at Seniora's Pizza on South Salina Street. A 19-year-old male customer was approached by a man who put a knife to his throat and demanded money. The suspect stole the victim's cash and wallet.

The suspect is described as a black man between 20-30 years old, 6'2", thin build, wearing dark clothes and a hat. He was last seen running on Dorwin Avenue. Police don't know if these robberies are connected.

Anyone with information is asked to call police at 315-442-5222.
