OSWEGO -- An Oswego man was arrested Saturday for allegedly touching a female acquaintance without her consent.
Deputies say 23-year-old Andrew M. Gates is charged with sexual abuse and released on an appearance ticket returnable to the Town of Scriba Court in March.
Deputies say the victim told police that the morning after Gates and another female friend had been invited to her residence, January 6, she woke to find Gates lying next to her in her bed. She told police Gates had touched her inappropriately without her consent.
