TOWN OF PHARSALIA -- The Chenango County Sheriff's Office says it has identified the female body found off of Center Road in the Town of Pharsalia as Jennifer Ramsaran, who went missing in December.

Her body was found on Center Road in the Town of Pharsalia on Tuesday.

Ramsaran, of New Berlin, went missing on December 11, 2012. She reportedly told her husband that she was going to Destiny USA to go shopping. Her cell phone was found in Plymouth and her car was located in Norwich shortly after her  disappearance.

The Sheriff’s Office says it, along with the Onondaga County Medical Examiner’s Office, is still investigating the cause of death.
