SYRACUSE -- Syracuse police made a quick arrest after an armed robbery Friday night.

Just after 6:00 p.m. police received a call about an armed robbery at the Mr.. Cell Phone Man (Cricket Store) on the 2800 block of South Salina Street.

Police say three black males wearing dark clothing walked into the store with a knife, claw hammer and what police think is a shotgun. They robbed the store, getting away with some cash and an iPhone. Then they ran out of the store, according to police.

Shortly after that, police officers found a claw hammer, iPhone and a BB gun behind a burned out building at 2518 South State Street.

Police say they then found one of the suspects, a 15 year old male on the front porch of that address. Officers quickly surrounded the building and brought in a K9 unit to search the building.

The dog found a 15 year old and 17 year old male, Martin Israel, hiding in a closet. All three suspects are facing robbery charges.
