Woman arrested after crashing car into railroad bridge abutment

SYRACUSE -- Syracuse Police arrested a Camillus woman after she crashed her car into a railroad bridge abutment on Sunday evening.

Police say Rebecca Spossey, 27, of Camillus, was driving her 2004 Buick south on South Clinton Street when her car left the road and struck a railroad bridge abutment.

Spossey was not injured in the crash.

She was ticketed for failure to maintain lane, and for driving while ability impaired due to drugs. She will appear in Syracuse City Traffic Court at a later date to answer the charges.
