An Old Forge man has been found dead after a snowmobile crash less than a thousand feet from his home.

Town of Webb Police tell CNYCentral that a trail groomer found 52 year old Carl Barcomb at 8am on Friday morning on Trail 4.  The snowmobile was not badly damaged, but had hit a tree and overturned. The exact time, and cause of death will be determined at an autopsy scheduled for Monday in Little Falls.
