VENEZUELA -- Venezuelan Vice President Nicolas Maduro says President Hugo Chavez has died.

Yesterday, the Venezuelan government described his condition as “very delicate.”

Chavez underwent a fourth cancer surgery in December, and was said to have a severe respiratory infection.
