Weather Deck Party Phase II

SYRACUSE -- What a tremendious success our first five Weather Deck Parties were!  We had more than 1,000 groups, neighborhoods, clubs, organizations, businesses and families register at CNYcentral.com with stories of every type. Stories of horrible personal tragedies and life threatening health issues to stories of ordinary people going above-and-beyond with good deeds and care for others.  In our five parties, we had 10 groups represented at each party averaging 175 people at each event. That's 50 groups and 875 attendees total.
 
It was great putting smiles on the faces of these folks, maybe giving them a little break from their daily struggles and routines.  We met so may fantastic folks from all walks of life. There were so, so many heartfelt registration letters. I wish we could have had a party for everyone, but that was just not possible.
 
On the other hand, it was such a success, I just didn't feel we could leave more than 950 registrants without a party, and so, Wayne's Weather Deck Party Phase II was born, and this time we're taking our party show on-the-road!
 
Our next party (the first one on the road) will be at the Syracuse Invitational Sporthorse Tournament at OnCenter in Syracuse on Thursday October 29th. This is the premiere event featuring our Olympic Gold Medalists, the best riders and best horses in the world, not to mention the event that typically draws Bruce Springsteen and his daughter up here to attend.  Our new sponsor for Phase II is CNY Blooms, the folks that put on that great Spring landscaping show each year at OnCenter.  I've had the privilage of being a judge the past few years at the CNY Blooms spring show, and it truly is something to see!
 
The great folks and members of CNY Blooms will have a Wayne's Weatherdeck actually built in OnCenter for the Sporthorse Tournament where I can do the weather, do a few interviews, and we can have our party!  Over the next few weeks, we'll be choosing 45 winners, each receiving four Sporthorse Tournament tickets, which will also be thier tickets to getting into our Weatherdeck Party right there at OnCenter.
 
Important notes!  Those 950+ registrants some over the summer that entered and did not win, you are all still in the running!   You do not have to register again.  And, if you have NOT registered yet, you should!  Just click on the Weatherdeck Party linkon our web site CNYcentral.com. If you are one of the lucky winners, unlike our parties over the summer where large groups could attend, each winner for our Sporthorse Tournament Weather Deck Party can be no more than four people.
