First of it's kind Healthy Pet Clinic in Syracuse helped needy pet owners in one of the most challenged neighborhoods in the city. Central New York veterinarians and vets and students from Cornell University's acclaimed veterinary college volunteered their services.

The Shamrock Animal Fund and the CNY Animal Welfare Colaition are teaming up with Cornell University's Veterinary College and volunteer veterinarians in a ground breaking effort to help animals in the most underserved neighborhoods of Syracuse. The first of three Healthy Pet Clinics this fall is coinciding with the 10th anniversary of 9/11 as these animal advocates reach out to needy families on this day of service.
