The New York State Police conducted graduation exercises Tuesday for its 2012 Basic Canine Handler School. One of the k-9's is named "Mandin" after Trooper Amanda Anna who was killed killed in the line of duty in a motor vehicle crash on County Route 37 in Hastings.

Funeral services for fallen 31-year-old Trooper Amanda Anna were held Friday at 10:00 am at the North Syracuse Baptist Church in North Syracuse.
