State police are investigating a forgery in Cicero. They say it happened at the Wal-Mart on Brewerton Road. Police have arrested 33-year-old Heidi Cassidy of Syracuse and charged her with criminal possession of a forged instrument 2nd degree, falsifying business records 1st degree, and two counts of petit larceny - a class A misdemeanor.Police say their investigation revealed that Cassidy used forged UPC bar codes to purchase several items from the Wal-Mart. She is also accused of stealing an MP3 player from the Wal-Mart. Cassidy was arraigned in the Town of Cicero Court. According police she was released and scheduled to re-appear in the Town of Cicero Court at a later date.
