An audit finds national grid overcharged upstate electric and gas customers $8.5 million in 2009. Downstate customers may have been overcharged $35 million in gas usage around the same period. Now the Public Service Commission is working to determine whether customers should be refunded.

Residents were shocked recently when they found a notice from National Grid taped to the front door of the apartment building. It warned residents of the Sunny Crest Manor Apartment Complex that gas and electricity would be shut off on May 6th.
