The McMahon/Ryan Advocacy Center is planting pinwheel gardens to remind neighbors about the ways we can prevent child abuse. The Center says spreading the message can be as simple as knowing what’s going on in your neighborhood. The pinwheel is the national symbol of child abuse prevention and awareness.

Dan Leonard, who is an adult survivor of child sexual abuse is a key speaker at Thursday's town hall event at Onondaga Community College. Leonard lived with the secret of his abuse at the ages of 13 and 14 until the 1990's.
