Yesterday at 3:09 PM  Officials say New York state's high school graduation rate held steady at 74 percent. Syracuse City School District had a rate of 48.4 percent. Other Central New York graduation rates ranged  mostly upwards of 80 percent.

Monday, June 10, 2013  It does not appear that there is enough support in the New York State Assembly to pass a bill legalizing professional mixed martial arts (MMA) events this year. The New York Daily News is reporting that 35 Assembly Democrats have signed a letter opposing the legalization of MMA that was delivered to Assembly Speaker Sheldon Silver.
