The Syracuse Police said at a new conference Friday that they believe the two north side armed robberies are connected. One of the robberies left longtime Christian Brother’s Academy baseball coach Thomas Dotterer in critical condition Wednesday.

Syracuse Police are called to two robberies in the city just one mile apart from one another in the wee morning hours Tuesday. First, a pizza man was robbed at gunpoint on Weiser Court. Less than two hours later, someone broke into a gas station on North State Street.
