While it is certainly common to get cold temperatures through the begin of spring, our temperatures by early Tuesday morning will approach near record levels for Syracuse. With a very cold and dry air mass over our area through Tuesday morning, temperatures will plummet with clear skies and relatively light winds. . After seeing a very active winter and snowy season across the area, accumulating snow has been at a minimum recently. In fact, Syracuse Hancock International Airport has only received 0.9” of snow (less than 1”) for the month of March.
