ID and $80 dollars taken from pocket
Ithaca Police are withholding the name of a man who was attacked early Sunday morning.
They say it happened just before 1:30am in the 200 block of Elmira Road. According to police the victim was approached without notice or provocation, stabbed in the face and arm, then physically attacked. He later discovered his id and $80 was missing from his pocket. Injuries are not life-threatening.
As the investigation continues, anyone with information is asked to call Ithaca Police at 272-9973.
