The U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission announced Wednesday that GE is recalling about 62,000 Profile Front Load Washers.

According to the CPSC, GE has received reports of washer baskets separating. In 10 of the 19 reports, the top panel broke.

The recall applies to model numbers beginning with WPDH8800, WPDH8900 and WPDH8910.

The washers were sold at Best Buy, Lowe’s, Sears, Home Depot and other retail stores nationwide from July 2008 to August 2011. They were manufactured between April 2008 and October 2010, according to GE.
