Several organizations are teaming up to end hunger in our community.

The Interreligious Food Consortium (IFC) is teaming up with Price Rite to stock 72 local good pantries and end hunger in Onondaga County.

As part of that, the IFC will hold its first annual fundraising dinner "The Harvest Bounty Dinner" on World Food Day, which is October 16. Proceeds from the dinner will be used to stock the shelves of the IFC and to support local food pantries.

The group will also hold a month-long food drive from October 16 through November 16 to feed 200 families for Thanksgiving. Food barrels will be placed in several grocery stores and businesses in and around Central New York.
