DEWITT -- The suspect in a weekend bank robbery has turned himself in after police released his photo to local media outlets.

According to DeWitt Police, on Saturday morning just before noon a man entered the Bank of America at the intersection of Tecumseh Road and Nottingham Road and demanded cash from a teller. He did not display a weapon and fled in a silver car with an undisclosed amount of cash.

On Tuesday morning, police released surveillance photos of the man and the car. Later Tuesday, police say 49-year-old Willie Earl Love of Ovid Street in Seneca Falls surrendered to authorities. He has been charged with third degree robbery and fourth degree grand larceny. He was arraigned in DeWitt Town Court Tuesday afternoon and remanded to jail in lieu of $20,000 cash bail or $40,000 bond. He is scheduled to return to court on June 4.

Police say the car has been located.
