Pleading For Mercy: Jodi Arias Talks To The Jury

The now convicted murderer had some pretty interesting ways of asking the jury to spare her life. She spoke today during the punishment phase of her trial. Not only did she give her last artist showcase, she also told the jury she'd start a recycling program at the jail, teach spanish, english, and even sign language AND grow her hair to donate to locks of love.

After the Senate Judiciary Committee passed the "Gang of 8" Immigration bill with minimal amendments, the crowd erupted in cheers first chanting "Yes, we can!" After the Chair of the committee, Senator Leahy announced that he was going to "pretend" to ask for order, the crowd began shouting "¡Si, Se Puede!" Leahy invited the excited audience to approach the Senate committee stands to give and receive congratulations and to celebrate with other Senate members.
